This is St. Raphael's church rectory (there is a new church on the side of it) the building remains from the 1840's. This is Kauai's oldest Catholic church. I knew my sister would love this one!

Cooper is doing a surf watch in this one. I managed to get a coconut tree in this one while he checks the surf.
That's me looking at the sea turtle we saw trying to swim ashore. We watched him for over 20 minutes and we were contemplating whether to try to snorkel and find him! The picture of the pot is of "Malasadas" which are Hawaiian desserts that Terri introduced me to. It's similar to a doughnut, but 100 times better....it was warm, soft, and DELICIOUS! I just don't want to know the calorie count on those babies. We had cinammon and the sugar kind. We brought them back to the boys after hours of surfing and they loved them! Thanks Terri!
